Fabio Paratici ’embarrasses’ after £17m+ Federico Chiesa update at Tottenham

Fabio Paratici’s return to Tottenham may not go down well if Tottenham end up signing Federico Chiesa from Liverpool.

Daniel Levy wants the Italian chief back at Spurs after the end of his suspension, and he’s accepted a return this summer.

Paratici is remembered for signing the likes of Dejan Kulusevski and Cristian Romero at the North London outfit, but he could soon potentially be making a massive mistake.

After Ange Postecoglou’s abysmal Premier League season, massive changes are expected at the Lilywhites, and a squad overhaul is possibly on the cards.

Tottenham could be serious contenders for Chiesa transfer from Liverpool

Spurs could emerge as serious contenders to sign Chiesa from Liverpool in the upcoming transfer window, according to CaughtOffside.

The news outlet reports (6 May) that the Reds are willing to sell the 27-year-old winger this summer, just a year after signing him from Juventus.

It’s been claimed that the Merseyside outfit will accept around £17million for the Italy international, and despite interest from Serie A, the North London outfit could have an edge in the race for his signature.

Paratici has a close relationship with Chiesa’s agent, Fali Ramadani, which could lead to his transfer in N17.

Paratici won’t please fans with Chiesa transfer

Paratici’s return is much-needed at Spurs in order to turn the tide after what’s been an underwhelming campaign.

The Italian chief may be keen on advising Levy on Postecoglou’s replacement at the North London outfit.

With the Australian manager seemingly only surviving in N17 due to the Lilywhites’ prospects in the Europa League, it’ll be interesting to see if and when he’ll be sacked.

Tottenham shouldn’t sign someone like Chiesa, who has struggled to show his qualities at Liverpool.

It would be embarrassing for Paratici to pursue the forward’s signature, as Arne Slot’s team doesn’t want him.

The North Londoners beat Bodo/Glimt in the first leg of the Europa League semi-finals at home, but they face a challenging trip to Norway.

Spurs can’t take Kjetil Knutsen’s team easy as they’ve already beaten Lazio at home this season.

The Lilywhites are favourites to reach the Europa League final in Bilbao, where they’ll likely face Manchester United after their resounding win over Athletic Club.

Even if Spurs win the European title, they must bolster their squad this summer, but Chiesa’s addition wouldn’t convince many fans.
