ENIC ‘green light Tottenham investment’ for mega Kudus and Gibbs-White double transfer

Daniel Levy and ENIC have faced unprecedented criticism at Tottenham in the last few years.

The controversial ownership group have been accused of holding the North London club back with a lack of spending in the transfer window.

However, Levy spoke of his desire to win the biggest honours after the Europa League win in May and it seems like he is finally backing up that ambition.

ENIC set to invest heavily at Tottenham

It seems like ENIC are set to invest this summer with a £55million deal for Mohammed Kudus agreed with West Ham.

They have also opened talks with Nottingham Forest over a £60m move for Morgan Gibbs-White, in a major swoop for the ownership.

Telegraph journalist Matt Law believes that new investment may have been secured, either from ENIC or outside, for the increasing spending to happen.

Tottenham need to capitalise on Champions League football

Tottenham will be playing in the Champions League next season, as a result of their success over Manchester United in Bilbao.

They will benefit from an increased revenue from being part of Europe’s premier competition for the first time since the 2022/23 season.

It seems like Levy and Co are trying to take advantage of that and capitalise by bringing in some top players like Kudus and Gibbs-White, which could help them stay in the competition.

If they have invested more of their own money, it would be a surprise, considering that they are usually tight when it comes to transfers.

It may be a case that they have allowed investment from an outside source, as they have been linked with a takeover for some time now.

This remains to be seen, but Tottenham fans will not care where the money has come from; they will be ecstatic that they are finally acting like the big club that they are after years of being a laughing stock.

It is a major show of ambition, something that has been lacking for a long time at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
