Ange Postecoglou is unlikely to be short of suitors if he wants to get back into football management as soon as possible.

The Australian manager wins silverware wherever he manages, and he continued this trend after delivering the Europa League to Tottenham.

Postecoglou was sacked by Daniel Levy a couple of weeks later, but there will surely be plenty of clubs waiting to take a punt on him.

Postecoglou tipped to manage Greek giants AEK Athens

The Tottenham fans were split on the decision to sack Postecoglou. Still, he's gone now and is set to become another club's gain.

AceOdds (9 June) have Greek club AEK Athens as the 3/1 favourites to hire the Australian next. The 13-time Greek champions sacked their manager in May after a string of poor results in the league.

The second-favourites are Australia's national team, which Postecoglou has already managed. He led them at the 2014 World Cup, but resigned in 2017.

You can get 6/1 on him managing the Scottish national team next, as Steve Clarke has come under a bit of pressure in recent times, with that link down to his time spent at Celtic.

Leicester City (8/1), Ipswich Town (10/1) and a return to Celtic (10/1) are also seen as likely destinations.

Some outside shots include Manchester United (16/1), Rangers (33/1) or England at 50/1.

Postecoglou may bide his time in hunt for new management role

Postecoglou leaves Tottenham with his reputation somewhat intact.

In fact, it might even be stronger now that he delivered Tottenham their first trophy since 2008.

It has proven to be an incredible piece of marketing for Postecoglou to state that he "always" wins silverware in his second season.

He stayed true to his word in the Spurs job, and that quote has spread like wildfire across the world of football.

Now, any team that doesn't mind waiting two seasons for a trophy could be excited to hang their hat on Ange. Many chairmen could look past Spurs' 17th-place finish in the Premier League, even if Levy couldn't.

The 59-year-old has supposedly already received job offers from rival clubs. He might bide his time before returning to the spotlight though.

It seems clear that the Spurs job took its toll on him, so he might choose to take some time off and wait for the perfect opportunity to bounce back.
