Paul Robinson: Pedro Porro to star for Tottenham next season with ‘excellent’ form
We’re delighted to welcome former England goalkeeper Paul Robinson as our exclusive columnist as each week he’ll be giving his views on the biggest talking points at The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium…
Paul Robinson has backed Pedro Porro to be “excellent” for Tottenham and whoever his new manager will be next season in the Premier League.
The former Spurs goalkeeper recalled the Spaniard being a fish out of water in his debut for the club, but he shined in the 4-1 final-day win over Leeds United.
The win at Elland Road was described as the “perfect” game for Porro, who will now be looking to take that form into the 2023-24 season.

“He’s grown into the Premier League. It’s difficult to hit the ground running, especially when you come in the middle of the season,” Robinson said exclusively to Tottenham Hotspur News.
“I remember his first game at Leicester, he was like a fish out of water. Like he wasn’t used to the pace.

“Where he is now, he looks like the player we were expecting when he first came to the club. Yesterday was the perfect game for him, playing out wide against a team who are open and expansive.
“He will become an excellent addition moving into next year, whoever the manager may be at Spurs.”
