Tottenham v Man Utd: 11 players could miss Europa League final in Bilbao
Tottenham and Manchester United are both sweating over the fitness of several key players ahead of the UEFA Europa League final.
The Europa League final between Tottenham and Manchester United will take place in Bilbao at the Estadio de San Mamés on Wednesday (21 May).
Both Ange Postecoglou and Ruben Amorim’s sides have fitness concerns around important players heading into the final.
However, after dreadful Premier League campaigns from both teams this season, the Europa League final offers a chance for redemption, even if both sides are set to be without several players on the day.

Tottenham have six doubts, United could be without five
Tottenham seem to be carrying the bigger injury burden heading into the final, even if, comparatively, it is only slightly larger.
As per Manchester Evening News (20 May), Matthijs de Ligt was absent from training at Carrington on Tuesday (20 May), with the centre-back’s availability in doubt.
Joshua Zirkzee, Leny Yoro and Diogo Dalot are also listed as doubts. However, in a massive boost for Amorim, the trio take part in the aforementioned session at Carrington.
Finally, Lisandro Martínez is a certain absentee after rupturing his ACL in February.

Meanwhile, Tottenham will be without James Maddison and Dejan Kulusevski, who are both recovering from injury.
Spurs supporters are desperate to see Lucas Bergvall make an appearance on the big stage. However, he also looks set to miss out, alongside long-term absentee Radu Drăgușin
Pape Matar Sarr and Mikey Moore are both doubts, but the pair have made the trip to Bilbao.

Tottenham could make history against Manchester United
Tottenham’s injury struggles may seem difficult to overcome, but the North London side have reached a sixth European final despite the challenges.
The mere fact that Postecoglou has managed to guide his side to a European final while facing such barriers is remarkable.
Now, despite his future at Tottenham being uncertain, Postecoglou has the chance to achieve what few could and what many have considered next to impossible.
