Tottenham v Bodo/Glimt result predicted by supercomputer
Tottenham face their biggest game of the season so far as they take on Norwegian side Bodo/Glimt in the Europa League semi-finals.
Ange Postecoglou’s side are in dire form domestically, with five losses in their last six Premier League games, but their focus shifted to Europe some time ago.
Tottenham beat Eintracht Frankfurt in the quarter-finals to set up the meeting with Bodo/Glimt, who pulled off a shock as they knocked out Serie A side Lazio.
Spurs will reach the final of the competition if they can get past these next two games, and a home victory could be vital in navigating a potentially tricky tie.

Tottenham backed to beat Bodo/Glimt
Tottenham fans may be relieved that they are facing Bodo/Glimt rather than Lazio in their Europa League journey, and it is easy to see why.
Bodo knocked Lazio out on penalties in the last round, which sent shockwaves through the footballing world.
However, it appears that they are not being backed to pull off another shock in North London, as Spurs are the heavy favourites for the first leg.
Opponent | Result |
Wolves (A) | 4-2 L |
Frankfurt (A) | 0-1 W |
Nottingham Forest (H) | 1-2 L |
Liverpool (A) | 5-1 L |
Opta’s supercomputer has now given Tottenham a 58.5 per cent chance of victory, with a draw backed at 21.6 per cent.
Bodo have been given just a 19.9 per cent probability of winning in London, but this does not mean Spurs can afford to be complacent.

Tottenham must avoid complacency against Bodo/Glimt
Spurs are in such dismal domestic form that it may be a challenge to get out of their slump to find the back of the net and record a victory, even as the favourites.
Bodo have consistently punched above their weight in Europe, and are the first ever Norwegian side to reach a European semi-final.
They beat FC Twente and Lazio in the knockouts so far, but lost both away legs. However, their incredible home form allowed them to win both ties.
Spurs may therefore need to take a big lead to Norway, so even a draw in North London would be far from ideal as they bid to reach the Europa League final in Bilbao.
