Tottenham plans for Thomas Frank sack emerge after boardroom talks held
Thomas Frank’s Tottenham future is up in the air right now.
Tottenham were beaten 2-1 by West Ham on 17 January, leaving further questions over Frank‘s status in North London.
The former Brentford boss has led Spurs to a dismal start to the campaign, with his side sitting 14th in the Premier League.
It may now be a matter of time before he is handed his marching orders at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Tottenham sack stance emerges after Frank talks
Frank seems to be on borrowed time at Tottenham, and the loss against the Hammers may be the straw that broke the camel’s back.
A report from Sky Sports on 18 January claims that board-level talks have taken place over the potential of sacking Frank.
It states that Spurs would like to stick to their long-term plans, which include Frank being at the helm, but no final decision has been reached on sacking the Dane.

Should Tottenham give Frank more time?
While stability in the dugout is ideal, and keeping Frank and turning it around would be the best possible outcome, it seems unlikely.
The Dane has lost the fans, has not won enough games, and perhaps most concerningly, his team do not look like they have an identity, or a style of play that can be defined.
The Lilywhites have been eliminated from both domestic cups and have a very small chance of winning the Champions League, so it does not look like they will win a trophy this season.

All that combined, it makes it extremely hard to say that Frank has a future in N17.
However, it has to be said, that the recruitment and happenings behind the scenes have definitely not helped the new boss.
He was backed in the summer, with nearly £180million spent, but the likes of Mohammed Kudus, Xavi Simons and Mathys Tel have not hit the ground running.
The overhaul in the boardroom with the likes of Vinai Venkatesham and Peter Charrington stepping into new roles has not had the desired affect either.
Everything seems to be chaos behind the scenes in North London right now, and that will likely see Frank depart and the long process of appointing a new man begin once again.
