Tottenham next manager: Odds slashed on new favourite as Levy spotted in talks
Daniel Levy has been spotted in talks with a manager who has now emerged as the new favourite to replace Ange Postecoglou at Tottenham.
Spurs appear to have several options for their next manager if they do decide to sack Postecoglou.
One of those options is Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola, who could bring Dean Huijsen with him to Tottenham.
Marco Silva is another contender, while Thomas Frank could also be looked at, with the Brentford boss currently the second-favourite to take over at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
However, a new favourite has now emerged after Levy was spotted in talks with this particular manager.

Levy spotted in talks with Mauricio Pochettino
Mauricio Pochettino has made his desire to return to Tottenham very clear in recent times.
Therefore, Spurs fans were sent into a frenzy when an image emerged which appeared to show Levy and Pochettino meeting in North London.
Manager | Win Percentage |
Mauricio Pochettino | 54.27% |
Ange Postecoglou | 48.28% |
As if that wasn’t enough, another image has now surfaced which shows Levy posing for a photo with Pochettino, and it appears to have been taken in the same location as the previous photo, although the exact date of this meeting isn’t clear.
As a result, the odds of Pochettino replacing Postecoglou have once again dropped, with the Argentine now the favourite to succeed the Australian in North London.
According to the latest odds from PaddyPower, as of Thursday (20 March), Pochettino is now 10/3 to be appointed as the next Tottenham manager, which compares to 11/2 as of Wednesday (19 March).
Levy surely discussing Tottenham with Pochettino
Fans will probably never know what was said between Levy and Pochettino during this recent meeting.
However, considering the context around the club at the moment, it is hard to believe that Tottenham wasn’t brought up at one point or another.
And if they did discuss Spurs, considering Pochettin’s feelings on a potential return, the idea of the 53-year-old making a sensational return to the club surely would have been floated, even if it was only in jest.
