Tottenham next manager: Marco Silva odds shift as offer made
Tottenham could be on the lookout for a new manager this summer as Ange Postecoglou is on the brink of an exit, but their pool of targets is constantly changing.
Spurs could reach the Europa League final if they can see out their 3-1 aggregate lead over Bodo/Glimt in the semi-finals.
However, even if Tottenham do lift the trophy, Postecoglou’s job could be in danger after a dismal season saw his relationship with the fans break down.
Fulham boss Marco Silva has been linked as his replacement, with the Portuguese coach impressing since he first moved to the Premier League in 2017 to join Hull City, but there has been a fresh development.

Silva close to Saudi move as odds increase for Tottenham
It has been reported that Silva is now close to a shock move to Saudi Arabia, having rejected a new contract at Fulham, and is set to accept a proposal from Al-Hilal.
This would mean that if the Spurs job does become available, Daniel Levy will have to look elsewhere for his next candidate, as Silva will be on his next adventure in Saudi Arabia.
Stats | Position | Wins | Draws | Losses |
Postecoglou | 16th | 11 | 5 | 19 |
Silva | 11th | 14 | 9 | 12 |
Silva has not yet been ruled out, but two weeks ago the odds of him joining were 3/1. As per Oddschecker, they have now increased to 7/1.
Former Barcelona manager Xavi Hernandez is set at the same odds, while Andoni Iraola and Mauricio Pochettino are deemed more likely to succeed Postecoglou.

Tottenham to miss out on Silva
Silva has had a roller coaster career in England with Hull, Watford, Everton and Fulham, as he had mixed spells in some of his clubs.
His work at Fulham saw them achieve promotion to the Premier League and establish themselves as a sie challenging for a top-10 spot in the division, while also playing an attacking style of football.
It now appears that Silva is becoming increasingly unlikely for Tottenham, which could be a blow given his experience in England and recent good work with Fulham.
Tottenham will have to pick their next coach wisely if Postecoglou is dismissed, but the pool of candidates will shrink as time goes on.
