Tottenham next manager latest: Bournemouth owner jets in amid Iraola news
Tottenham’s difficult chapter with Ange Postecoglou is set to close imminently following a dismal domestic season which sees them languishing in 15th in the Premier League.
Their Europa League campaign is still in the balance, with Thursday’s second leg of their quarter-final against Frankfurt still offering a route to silverware, however, even ultimate success in the competition would not change Tottenham’s stance.
As such, the club is set for another summer upheaval as they look for replacements, and they may be forced to act fast following the latest developments with their top target Andoni Iraola.

Bournemouth owners to meet Iraola this week
Iraola has seen his stock rise to new heights on the back of a historic season in which the Cherries have exceeded all expectations and are still in the mix for European qualification.
It has prompted Bournemouth owner Bill Foley to schedule a flight to England this week to discuss a new contract with the Spaniard, according to BBC Sport.
He is expected to attend their Premier League fixture against Crystal Palace on Saturday before unveiling their new training facility.
It is also thought that he will sit down with Iraola to discuss extending his stay beyond his current deal, which expires at the end of the season.
The strong interest from Tottenham will likely have hastened Foley’s approach, who will no doubt be looking to end the speculation around the manager briskly.

Spotlight on Daniel Levy once again
The news leaves Tottenham with plenty to ponder, with Daniel Levy and co no doubt hoping to avoid the embarrassment of previous summers spent yoyoing between managerial candidates.
With his stock at arguably at an all-time low, he will have hoped to endure with Postecoglou until the end of the season with minimal hassle in order to reassess.
In light of the latest developments, the hierarchy at the club will have to decide on whether more drastic measures need to be taken before it’s too late.
There have been plenty of other managers touted for the job, including Marco Silva and Thomas Frank, but Iraola was top amongst all, with his modern front-foot approach and aptitude in developing young players seen as key ingredients to progress Tottenham’s current squad.
