Tottenham make announcement ahead of Europa League final, but there is an issue
Tottenham are set to compete in the Europa League final in Bilbao, as their entire campaign rests on one game.
Spurs reached the final after beating Bodo/Glimt home and away, and have set up a meeting with fellow Premier League strugglers Manchester United.
Both clubs have had dismal domestic campaigns, and this will be a straight shootout to qualify for the Champions League, with the losing side missing out on European football entirely.
Tottenham have now made an arrangement for their fans for their first European final since 2019, but there is a key difference to last time.

Tottenham arrange Europa League final stadium screening
Tottenham have now listened to their fans and organised a screening in the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for the final against Man United.
With tickets limited for the game in Bilbao, there is a huge demand in North London for Spurs fans to support the team as they attempt to win a trophy for the first time since 2008.
However, Spurs have now announced in a statement that, unlike their screening for the 2019 Champions League final, there will be no extra screens placed on the pitch for fans viewing the game.

“The stadium’s four giant HD screens will display TNT Sport’s live coverage of the final, including all the build-up, post-match reaction and trophy presentation,” a statement read.
“The coverage will also be displayed on concourse TV screens in all areas. Please note, unlike in 2019, additional screens will not be placed on the pitch due to our home match with Brighton the following Sunday.”

Tottenham’s season rests on Europa League final
Spurs have lost 19 Premier League games this season, and that figure could easily rise given that their full focus will be on the Europa League final.
Tottenham have a chance to qualify for the Champions League, and win their first bit of silverware since the 2008 League Cup, while also denying Man United the chance to do so.
Win, and most of the misery from the league season may be forgotten, but if Spurs lose, then this would represent one of their worst campaigns in living memory.
Their entire season now rests on this one game, and Spurs fans across the world will be aiming to offer their support, whether in Bilbao, London or elsewhere.
