Tottenham loanee publicly apologies after what he just did – ‘I will learn’
Will Lankshear has never been afraid to throw himself around.
Lankshear will be remembered for his red card after his first senior Tottenham goal against Galatasaray, with the young striker eager to make a name for himself.
That cutting edge and tenacity will likely tell him apart from other young prospects, and it certainly hasn’t left his game while out on loan.
After a disappointing year with West Brom last season, Lankshear is now enjoying more success with Oxford, also in the Championship.
But it was a day to forget on Saturday for the Tottenham starlet.

Will Lankshear apologises after red card
Lankshear was said to be wanted by nearly every Championship club, but his choice of Oxford has worked out so far, with more senior minutes available.
Oxford are currently in the Championship relegation zone, but they pulled off a very impressive 0-0 draw at high-flyers Coventry on Saturday.
Despite that, Lankshear was sent off for two yellow cards.
Now, he has taken to Instagram to apologise for his actions, although he will only miss one game in the important Championship run-in.

Oxford welcome Norwich City to the Kassam Stadium on Tuesday, as they look to breathe life back into their survival bid, but obviously without Lankshear.
What did Will Lankshear do?
Naive is the best word to describe the altercation.
Already on a booking, Lankshear went to latch onto a long ball, but only managed to clatter the defender ahead of him, making an easy decision for the officials.
Looking at his stats via Sofascore, Lankshear is outperforming his expected goals total.
In 30 appearances so far, including 20 starts, the young striker has six goals and has added an assist for the struggling Oxford.
It’s his work before the final finish that could do with some work, though.
Lankshear has only won 36 per cent of his total duels per game this season, also losing possession over six times in each outing.
Of course, scoring goals is what strikers are remembered for, but those who make it to the very top can do it all, especially the dirty work.
The Spurs loanee will learn from this experience, and it’s refreshing to see his apology, but more is needed to make it back at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
