Tottenham have buy-back clause for Harry Kane after Bayern Munich transfer – Daniel Levy
Tottenham have a buy-back clause for Harry Kane following his lucrative sale to Bayern Munich, as confirmed by chairman Daniel Levy.
The Daily Mail reported online (19 September) that Levy made the comments during a rare fans’ forum, where he said a clause had been inserted following the England captain’s sensational move to the Bundesliga giants.
Bayern had a long-running transfer saga for Kane throughout the summer and eventually landed their man on August 13 in a deal Sky Sports says could eventually be worth £100million to Spurs.

Kane has made a flying start to life in Germany, scoring four goals in as many Bundesliga appearances under Thomas Tuchel and is due to feature in their Champions League opener against Manchester United on Wednesday (20 September).
Unlikely
There was a sense of inevitability about Harry Kane’s exit this summer.
His loyalty to Tottenham to that point had been admirable but their consistent failure to land major trophies was compounded by the fact they finished eighth in the Premier League last season to miss out on European football altogether, let alone the Champions League.
Players do return to former clubs, of course. Indeed, Teddy Sheringham – a club legend – had two spells at Spurs after leaving for Manchester United.
But it does feel as though Spurs are, understandably, moving in a new direction and life after Kane has thus far been pretty sweet with the club taking 13 points from a possible 15 under Ange Postecoglou – a penalty shoot-out loss to Fulham in the Carabao Cup the only blot on their record.

Kane is at a club that should pretty much guarantee him domestic success over the next few seasons, while Bayern are perennial Champions League challengers and are even stronger with Kane at the club.
In stats provided by Fotmob, Kane’s five-goal involvements are the most of any Bayern player this season, while he is averaging the most shots on target per 90 minutes (1.8) and is second for shots per 90 in total (4).
He has missed two big chances, but that just further emphasises that Kane is getting into the right positions and really excelling in his new surroundings.
Put simply, it seems quite fanciful that he will be back in a Tottenham shirt any time soon.
