Tottenham final position predicted by supercomputer after Fulham loss

Tottenham were handed a 2-0 defeat by Fulham at Craven Cottage as the pressure continues to mount on Ange Postecoglou.

Tottenham fell to their 15th Premier League defeat of the season, leaving them in 14th place in the league table.

After a goalless first half, Fulham boss Marco Silva made changes and his substitutes delivered for the Cottagers. Rodrigo Muniz and Ryan Sessegnon scored for the hosts to seal a 2-0 victory.

Silva managed to negate Tottenham’s attack and setup a perfect counter-plan to defeat Postecoglou’s side.

Tottenham remain in bottom half of Premier League

After a decent first season under Postecoglou, everything’s gone downhill in the second season at Spurs. The Australian manager is unable to fix the underlying issues and as a result of inconsistent performances, players’ shoulders have started to drop.

Apart from the tactical problems in the squad, Tottenham lack robust leaders who can help the dressing room navigate the tough waters.

Former Celtic manager Postecoglou has now lost 19 games in all competitions this term. The Lilywhites are also winless in their last three league matches, while they have accumulated 10 points in 12 league games since the start of 2025.

Premier League positions for Tottenham after game week 29

With Spurs currently sitting 14th in the table with 34 points, it is not looking good for the Australian. They are 13 points off the top six and European football is a distant dream, unless they manage to win the Europa League.

Opta’s supercomputer has predicted Tottenham’s finishing position in the league after their loss to cross-city rivals Fulham. The supercomputer predicts a 14th-place finish for the North London side.

Spurs are predicted to finish on 46.45 points, above West Ham and Everton but below Manchester United. As per the predictions, the Lilywhites will only secure 12 more points from the remaining nine fixtures.

Time for Postecoglou to go?

There have been murmurs all across England about Postecoglou’s potential sacking. The former Celtic man has failed to inspire in his second season and the club’s performances have seen them tumble down the table.

The only saving grace for Tottenham and Postecoglou is the Europa League, where the North London outfit have reached the quarter-finals. Postecoglou’s future is hanging by the thread and an exit from the Europa League will be the final nail in the coffin.

Should he manage to guide Spurs to a Europa League trophy, their first major trophy since 2008, Postecoglou may be immediately forgiven and given another chance to prove his worth at N17.

Names such as Andoni Iraola, Mauricio Pochettino and Russel Martin have been floated, but Daniel Levy will not make a hasty decision.
