Thomas Frank on verge of sack as Tottenham press conference scheduled
Thomas Frank is on the verge of being sacked by Tottenham.
Spurs hit rock bottom again with a 2-1 defeat to West Ham United on Saturday, with the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium fully turning on their manager.
Frank was faced with chants saying he would be sacked by his own fans, but put on a brave face with the media following the defeat.
Tottenham did initially plan to stick with Frank, but things may have gone beyond repair with everything turning toxic very quickly for the Dane.
Now, the end is in sight.

Tottenham could sack Thomas Frank today
Tottenham chiefs are now weighing up whether to sack their manager ahead of the Champions League clash against Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday.
The Sun has reported in its print edition that Frank is set to take training on Monday despite being on the verge of the sack, but with a press conference scheduled for later on 19 January, things are unclear.
Spurs have refused to confirm that Frank will be in that media briefing so far.
It is said that Tottenham chiefs are keen to take the pressure off the squad, and a change of manager may do just that after a rough couple of months.
Who could replace Thomas Frank?
There have already been several links with managers, before Frank has actually been sacked.
John Heitinga is the favourite to take an interim role, but some big names are starting to become available in the manager market.
Despite coaching roles at West Ham, Liverpool, and now Spurs, his only senior management roles have come with Ajax, and they didn’t go too well.

Oliver Glasner is another option after his extraordinary outburst at Crystal Palace, but he is currently expected to stay where he is until the end of the season.
With Xabi Alonso also available since his high-profile sacking by Real Madrid, Tottenham cannot say that it isn’t a good time to consider change.
The Lewis family are set to strike with a new cash injection, but whether it will be Frank or a new manager given that, remains to be seen.
It appears as though the scheduled press conference on Monday will reveal everything.
