Thomas Frank doubles down on Harry Kane plea and hints at Brentford reunion in footage

Tottenham could make the biggest statement signing in the Premier League.

Club legend Harry Kane has been linked with a Tottenham return for years, but rumours of a return to N17 are heating up.

Kane is loved at Tottenham and will always be regarded as one of the Lilywhites’ best-ever players, but he left the club to seek silverware success.

Since joining Bayern Munich, Kane has seen trophy success, but so have Tottenham.

Thomas Frank has made a good start in the Premier League as Spurs boss, and new developments may suggest Kane could well return, but another name has now also been teased.

Thomas Frank’s cheeky “we’ll see” comment on Ivan Toney and Harry Kane

Frank has already admitted his wish for Kane to return to Tottenham, but has spoken more on the former Spurs striker.

During a Tottenham event, Frank featured, and the lucky Spurs fans who attended were first to hear Frank’s thoughts on Kane and a potential reunion with Brentford striker Ivan Toney.

As per @Lilywhite_Rose on X, Frank was captured answering a question on both Ivan Toney and Kane.

“Two very, very good players, Harry Kane is a legend, and as I said the other day in a press conference, Kane is welcome to come back, yes, you’re welcome back – more than welcome.

“And Ivan Toney, I personally coached him for a few years, top player, top guy, and a very good striker.

“We’ll see what happens.”

However, a potential Toney move to Tottenham could truly be on the cards.

Ivan Toney could join Tottenham in the summer

Toney has been linked with Tottenham, and as Frank’s side currently suffers a striker issue, it may genuinely happen in January.

The striker left Brentford in the Premier League for Saudi Arabia, where attention surrounding his name has died down.

Toney has been performing magnificently since leaving England and is still in goalscoring form.

Frank could be the one to tempt Toney for a Premier League return in January, especially if Tottenham continue performing.
