Solanke reacts to Richarlison message after Tottenham defeat v Wolves

Dominic Solanke has reacted to Richarlison’s message after Tottenham were beaten 4-2 by Wolves on Sunday.

Ange Postecoglou’s side suffered their 17th Premier League defeat of the season at Molineux on 13 April.

As a result, it looks as though Levy has already decided on Postecoglou’s future ahead of the crunch clash with Eintracht Frankfurt at Deutsche Bank Park on Thursday (17 April).

One Tottenham player is set to miss that clash in a blow to the North London club. However, Postecoglou does have Richarlison and Dejan Kulusevski available again, with the former sending a message after the defeat in the West Midlands.

Injuries have derailed Tottenham’s season, with Son Heung-min missing the defeat at Wolves, as an update emerges on the Spurs captain ahead of the trip to Germany.

However, Postecoglou was handed a much-needed boost against Wolves, with Kulusevski able to play a part off the bench. As a result, the Swede could be in line to start against Frankfurt.

In addition, Richarlison is also an option, with the Brazillian returning from injury in the 1-1 draw with Frankfurt at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Thursday (10 April) and featuring off the bench again at Molineux.

The 27-year-old got himself on the scoresheet after replacing Solanke in the 75th minute and took to Instagram after full-time (13 April), posting a picture of himself and Kulusevski alongside a caption which simply featured the word ‘back’ in the form of an emoji and a football emoji.

And Solanke reacted to this message by liking the Instagram post.

Richarlison could make an impact for Tottenham against Frankfurt

While he hasn’t proven to be the most prolific player during his time at Tottenham, having Richarlison available again could make a difference in Germany. It gives Postecoglou a different option and allows the Australian to switch things up if he needs a plan B.

In addition, for all of his struggles, as he proved against Wolves, Richarlison does know where the back of the net is and is due a big goal for Tottenham.
