Simon Jordan predicts Europa League winner between Tottenham and Man United
Simon Jordan has predicted who has a better chance of winning the Europa League between Tottenham and Manchester United.
The North London outfit qualified directly for the round of 16 after finishing fourth in the European competitions group stage table.
On the other hand, the Red Devils finished third, having replaced Erik ten Hag with Ruben Amorim midway through the season.
Both teams have struggled domestically this season, with Spurs sitting 13th in the Premier League, level on points with the Manchester club.

Tottenham to win Europa League over Man United
Spurs have a better chance than Man United of winning the Europa League, Jordan says.
The talkSPORT pundit believes injuries have been the reason for the North London outfit’s downfall in the current campaign.
Europa League group stage table (2024/25) | Points |
1. Lazio | 19 |
2. Athletic Club | 19 |
3. Manchester United | 18 |
4. Tottenham | 17 |
Jordan feels that with players coming back from the sidelines for the Lilywhites, they will be a better team going forward.
Speaking on talkSPORT (6 March, 11:57), the Englishman said: “Tottenham [have a better chance than Man United] because their descent has been they’ve had players missing. Those players are now coming back. And so you’d expect them to be a side that’s formidable.”
Ange Postecoglou to take Spurs all the way in the Europa League
Ange Postecoglou was fighting for his Spurs job a few weeks back after being knocked out of the Carabao and FA Cup.
The Australian manager has found life difficult this season, but with several players out of action, fans need to realise the predicament he has been in.
Postecoglou’s overall chances of winning the Europa League may not be the best, considering Lazio and Athletic Club are still alive in the competition.
The former Celtic boss did seemingly hint at ending the Lilywhites’ 17-year trophy drought at the start of the campaign, but that seems a challenging task as things stand.
Spurs won’t be happy that Cristian Romero has been called up by the Argentina national team for the upcoming international break.
The former Atalanta defender has been injured for a considerable period this season and has only just returned.
Micky van de Ven has also been a big miss in the current campaign, and Postecoglou will be rearing to have his first-choice centre-backs available soon.
With a fit squad, the North London outfit should be able to go all the way in the European competition and finally lift a title, but they will have to first get past AZ Alkmaar.
