Sean Dyche odds fall in crazy next Tottenham manager twist
Ange Postecoglou’s future as Tottenham manager continues to be speculated.
Despite the failures of the Premier League campaign, Spurs are almost certain to be in the Europa League final.
The club hold a 3-1 lead against Bodo/Glimt going into the second leg on Thursday.
However, even if Tottenham do win the competition, Postecoglou could still be sacked by Spurs.
Coaches such as Scott Parker have been linked to Spurs in case the Australian is sacked. However, in a sudden twist, the odds of Sean Dyche taking over the post have massively fallen.

Dyche now outside for Tottenham post
Few Spurs fans will want to see Dyche at the Tottenham Hotspurs Stadium next season.
The Englishman is widely regarded as a specialist in avoiding relegation and is usually managing near the foot of the table.
Dyche has now been out of a job since Everton sacked the Englishman at the start of 2025.
Sean Dyche’s managerial record | Win percentage |
Watford | 35 |
Burnley | 35 |
Everton | 31 |
While he has since been loosely linked to a few jobs, he is yet to have been mentioned among Spurs’ candidates.
Yet, according to BetVictor (5 May), Dyche’s odds have suddenly plummeted. While he is still seen as an outsider at 40/1, he is the only manager to have his odds shift.
Mauricio Pochettino remains the favourite for the position at 11/4, while Xavi is next at 11/2.

Tottenham’s struggle to find a suitable manager is a concern
As it stands, the links to the Spurs post have been highly underwhelming.
The club could easily be in the Champions League next season, yet many of the names linked were recently at bottom-half Premier League sides.
If Dyche were appointed, it would be extremely concerning, While the Englishman is not a bad manager, he suits a team fighting relegation, and his style of play is appalling.
If Tottenham do sack Postecoglou, the appointment must be a good one, especially if the club does win the Europa League.
Spurs have been going backwards in recent years and another poor appointment could set them back decades.
Daniel Levy simply must get this right or Tottenham may not be regulars in Europe again for years.
