Romero a ‘disgrace’ as ‘inexcusable’ Tottenham footage emerges from Molineux
Tottenham’s season went from bad to worse on Sunday during their latest Premier League outing against Wolves.
Spurs travelled to Molineux (13 April), only to be handed a heavy 4-2 defeat in what was their 17th top-flight loss of the campaign.
Only the three teams occupying the relegation zone spots have lost more games than Ange Postecoglou’s men this season, in what has been a disaster from start to finish.
Their latest defeat against Wolves allowed the Midlands club to close the gap on them, as they’re now just two points behind Spurs.
Tottenham got off to a terrible start when Rayan Ait-Nouri scored in the second minute, with Djed Spence then scoring an own goal before half time.
Mathys Tel did score in the 59th minute to give his team some hope, but goals from Jorgen Strand Larsen and Matheus Cunha put the game beyond Spurs, despite Richarlison scoring in the 85th minute.

Romero might be moving on this summer
One player who has seemingly had enough of Tottenham’s difficulties is Romero, as the Argentina international is seemingly set to leave North London this summer.
The 26-year-old is under contract with the Premier League side until 2027, but with interest reportedly coming from Real Madrid, Romero’s head has been turned to pastures new.
It has been a tough season for him individually due to injuries, and some supporters have claimed that he prioritises his international games over the club when it comes to his fitness.

Atletico Madrid are also believed to be interested in Romero as Diego Simeone is a fan of his, proving that he will have no shortage of options this summer if he does want to move on.

Tottenham fans have seen enough of Romero
Romero might be set to depart Tottenham in the summer, but if he continues to act the way that he did on Sunday, then fans might be driving him to the airport.
The experienced defender refused to go over to the travelling supporters after the final whistle to applaud and thank them for making the trip.
Instead, Romero went straight down the tunnel in a moment captured by fans, who have since been left fuming at his “disgraceful” actions.
