Richarlison ‘desperate’ as Tottenham double demands to sell him
Richarlison has endured a frustrating season with Tottenham, courtesy of injury issues.
The Brazil international had to be substituted as Spurs faced Liverpool in the second leg of their Carabao Cup semi-final defeat on 6 February.
Such a humiliating result in a high-profile fixture exacerbated the growing pressure on Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou, while the Brazilian has not been able to feature since.

Tottenham reject bid for Richarlison transfer
Richarlison has made just 14 appearances across all competitions this term, scoring three goals and notching one assist in the process.

Meanwhile, the Daily Mail has reported in its print edition [pg 61, 1 April], Brazilian club Flamengo were keen to sign the forward either on loan or a permanent bid worth £16million.
However, Spurs were only willing to accept a permanent sum around double the price that Flamengo offered, while Richarlison is “desperate” to return to fitness and help Postecoglou’s men enjoy a strong end to the season.

Richarlison could help Tottenham progress in the Europa League
Alongside their exits from both the FA Cup and Carabao Cup, Spurs sit just 14th in the top flight and are enduring a woeful Premier League season.
Tottenham’s clash with London rivals Chelsea this Thursday will likely arrive too soon for Richarlison to make his return to fitness, but the ex-Everton man should be available in time for Spurs’ Europa League quarter-final tie with Frankfurt.
Frankfurt sit third in the Bundesliga and will provide Postecoglou’s men with a tricky test in the last eight of the Europa League.
But Tottenham could be bolstered by the attacking threat of Richarlison, who will be keen on making a strong return from injury and helping the North London club clinch the only trophy still available to them this term.
Last season, the Brazil international notched 12 goals and four assists in 31 appearances in all competitions, showing that he can be a real asset when he is available.
