Richard Keys makes huge Postecoglou sack verdict after what he saw Tottenham do
Richard Keys has made his feelings about Ange Postecoglou apparent after he led Tottenham to the UEFA Europa League final.
Tottenham qualified for the Europa League final after beating Bodo/Glimt 5-1 on aggregate in their semi-final tie on Thursday, 8 May.
The North London giants will now face Premier League rivals Manchester United at Athletic Bilbao’s San Mames stadium on 21 May for European glory.
This means Postecoglou is only one step away from keeping his promise of delivering a trophy in his second as the Spurs boss.

Keys says Postecoglou will be sacked
Reacting to Thursday’s Europa League and Conference League results, Keys explained that it was a great night for English football, as Manchester United and Chelsea also progressed into the final of their respective competition.
The former Sky Sports commentator also tipped his hat to Postecoglou, admitting that he could actually stay true to his word by leading Spurs to Europa League glory.
Matches | Wins | Draws | Losses | Goals | Points | Point per Match |

However, Keys is still of the view that Daniel Levy will sack the Greek-Australian manager at the end of the season regardless of what happens in Bilbao in two weeks’ time.
“That was a very good night for English football”, Keys wrote on his personal X handle (9 May).
“It’s especially pleasing to see Mason Mount get a break or two in a United jersey. He deserved that.
“And maybe Ange is going to be proved right – he always wins something in his 2nd season? It won’t save him though.”
Tottenham to sack Postecoglou
Keys is right. Winning the Europa League may not be enough for Postecoglou to save his job at Tottenham.
Tottenham’s progress in the European competition does not change the fact that they have had a nightmare of a season domestically.
It is worth noting that Spurs have lost 19 of their 35 Premier League games, which is a terrible record for any manager of a big six club.
Furthermore, the North London giants are stuck in 16th place in the league with only three games left.
Therefore, it will not be a surprise if Levy pulled the plug on Postecoglou immediately at the end of the season.
Tottenham have already been linked with several managers, including Bournemouth Andoni Iraola.
Fulham’s Marco Silva has also emerged as an option for the London-based club ahead of the summer.
