Postecoglou sack: Jamie Carragher makes huge Tottenham admission v Frankfurt
Ange Postecoglou will be looking over his shoulders as Tottenham face Eintracht Frankfurt in the Europa League on Thursday.
Spurs drew 1-1 against the Bundesliga outfit in the first leg of the quarter-finals at home and will travel to Germany on 17 April.
The North London outfit are going into the second leg of the European tie low on confidence after losing 4-2 to Wolves at Molineux on Sunday (13 April).
It wouldn’t be surprising to see the Lilywhites crash out of the Europa League against Dino Toppmoller’s team, which could potentially force Daniel Levy’s hands.

Tottenham will sack Postecoglou after Frankfurt defeat in Europa League
Postecoglou may be sacked if Spurs lose to Frankfurt at Deutsche Bank Park, Jamie Carragher says.
The former Liverpool star believes the Australian manager will lose his job at the North London outfit if they fail to progress to the Europa League semi-finals.

Carragher feels it’d be best for both parties to part ways if the Lilywhites can’t beat the Bundesliga outfit on Thursday.
Speaking on Sky Sports News on X (14 April), the ex-defender said: “It can’t go on any longer. And I think if they go out to Frankfurt in the cup, it probably would be [the end]. I’d shake hands and move on to something different for both parties.”

Levy to pull plug at Spurs after Frankfurt loss
It’s surprising to see Levy sticking by a manager for so long despite Spurs’s prospects in the Premier League.
The North London outfit are 15th in the table, and with just six games to go domestically, their prospects look bleak.
With the Europa League the Lilywhites’ seemingly only chance of qualifying for any of next season’s European competitions, winning it has become pivotal.
Tottenham shouldn’t think twice about sacking Postecoglou if Frankfurt knock them out, with the Australian manager’s future arguably relying on lifting the trophy in Bilbao.
Spurs have gone backwards under the former Celtic boss in the current campaign, and while injuries have taken a toll on his squad, there’s been no improvement in recent weeks despite essential players returning to action.
Postecoglou has failed to inspire the North London outfit over the last few months, and his dismissal seems inevitable.
Some of the Lilywhites’ faithful have turned against the Australian manager, highlighting his plight in N17.
Once the 59-year-old head coach eventually leaves, Levy will have a massive decision to make on his replacement.
