Postecoglou sack: Terzic in line for Tottenham appointment after bombshell news
Ange Postecoglou could have just a matter of days left at Tottenham as pressure grows on the Australian manager.
Spurs are winless in their last four Premier League matches, leaving them struggling in the bottom half of the table and rumours beginning to swirl over the manager’s future.
With supporters beginning to protest against Daniel Levy’s ownership, it has been suggested that Postecoglou could be sacrificed as a result, and betting odds certainly feel the same.
Following the 2-2 draw with Wolves, the 59-year-old’s odds of being sacked crashed to 11/8 [Ladbrokes], with Graham Potter and Edin Terzic seemingly the favourites to replace him.
The former remains 2/1 to be appointed at Hotspur Way, with the latter right on his heels at 4/1 [PaddyPower], though those odds may have to be revised after a new bombshell elsewhere.
Edin Terzic surely favourite to replace Ange Postecoglou at Tottenham
According to talkSPORT, West Ham have decided to sack Julen Lopetegui and Graham Potter is now expected to be hired as his replacement, likely a big blow for the Lilywhites.
Images of the former Brighton and Chelsea boss in talks with the Hammers’ technical director Tim Steidten have even appeared on social media, though it remains to be seen if these are old or new [Sean Whetstone].
Despite this, talkSPORT’s update would suggest that Terzic has now been bumped to the top of the list to replace Postecoglou, with Potter seemingly on his way to East London instead.

The prospect of Potter being hired by Daniel Levy has been greeted with a mixed reaction, but with Spurs showing no signs of improving under the current manager, it could be just a matter of time before a change is made.
The former Borussia Dortmund figure has plenty of experience, especially in Europe, and could be the best choice currently available to get the Lilywhites out of their current rut.
