Postecoglou sack: ‘Daniel Levy date set’ for Tottenham decision
Ange Postecoglou is understood to be safe in his job at Tottenham until “at least” the second leg of the EFL Cup semi final against Liverpool, according to The Sun.
The news outlet reported on Tuesday (21 January) that Postecoglou will remain in his job until at least 6 February, when Spurs face Liverpool despite the growing pressure on him.
Their recent 3-2 defeat to Everton provided further disappointment with the Australian hitting back at reporters for comments made after the game.
Tottenham’s hierarchy are said to be given consideration to the injury list at Spurs, with Postecoglou being given the benefit of the doubt.
Ange Postecoglou running out of time at Tottenham
Very seldom has a Spurs manager been afforded this amount of leeway when it comes to a lack of results of performances but as it stands, Postecoglou looks safe in his job.
That is despite growing concerns that Tottenham could actually be involved in a relegation battle if this form is allowed to continue.
Spurs have looked devoid of ideas and confidence throughout the season, and when a manager refuses to adapt and is unable to take the blame, very rarely do you see improvements.

It seems only a matter of time until he faces the sack, and when that day comes, questions will be asked as to why he was allowed to remain in the job for as long as he has.
Postecoglou appears to have already lost the majority of the supporters and it would take somewhat of a miracle to earn back the trust from his early days at the club.
