Postecoglou provides Son Heung-min injury update ahead of Tottenham v Frankfurt
Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou has spoken out on Son Heung-min ahead of the must-win Europa League against Eintracht Frankfurt on Thursday.
The Lilywhites are preparing to travel to face the Bundesliga outfit on 17 April after the first leg in North London ended 1-1.
This could result in an intense encounter at Deutsche Bank Park, especially as Postecoglou continues to come under massive pressure from Spurs fans.
With that being said, the Australian head coach will need to get the best out of his side in Germany as he looks to save himself from the sack with European success.

Postecoglou shares Son injury before Frankfurt clash
There has been no shortage of injury issues at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this season, which have derailed the ex-Celtic boss’ prospects.
This has seen the N17 club fall as far down the Premier League table to 15th with little chance of a positive finish to end the campaign.
As a result, every effort is now being piled into the Europa League with a defeat against Frankfurt potentially set to spell the end for Postecoglou.
The 59-year-old will be hopeful of a positive performance from his side and has been handed a boost ahead of the quarter-final clash.
Speaking in his press conference on 16 April, the Spurs boss revealed that Son won’t play a part in the squad against the Eagles after failing to travel to Germany.
He said: “Son didn’t travel in the end, he’s the only one that misses out.
“He’s been battling with his foot problem for a few weeks now, he’s managed through it but it got too painful over the last few days.
“He tried to train yesterday and just wasn’t right so we made the decision to leave him out and allow him to recuperate and see the best way of recovery for him.”
Tottenham must win v Eintracht Frankfurt
There is no doubt that Postecoglou’s job is on the line against the side placed third in the Bundesliga behind just Bayer Leverkusen and Bayern Munich.
Daniel Levy will certainly have a decision on his hands if progression to the semi-final of the Europa League is missed out on.
It has to be the job of the former Melbourne Victory head coach to make sure that the chairman has no reason to pull the sack trigger in North London.
As a result, he must get the most out of his quality players like James Maddison and Dominic Solanke on the night.
The Lilywhites have the quality to earn a spot in the semi-final, but have to show it and prove that they are good enough after such a rough campaign.
