Postecoglou provides Kulusevski injury update ahead of Tottenham v Wolves

Ange Postecoglou has shared an injury update on Dejan Kulusevski ahead of the clash between Tottenham and Wolves on Sunday.

Postecoglou will be feeling frustrated after his players failed to capitalise on their dominance and take a lead to Germany as they drew 1-1 with Eintracht Frankfurt in the first leg of the two clubs’ UEFA Europa League last-eight tie at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Thursday (10 April).

Daniel Levy is expected to sack Postecoglou if Spurs do not reach the last four of the Europa League.

Therefore, the pressure is on, with a concern raised ahead of the trip to Frankfurt on Thursday (17 April) for the second leg.

However, for now, the focus will be on the Premier League clash with Wolves at Molineux on 13 April.

Postecoglou provides Kulusevski injury update on Friday

Should Postecoglou be sacked by Tottenham, he will no doubt feel as though injuries played a part in his demise this season.

More or less every first-team player has spent a spell on the sidelines at one point or another during the current campaign, with Kulusevski, Kevin Danso, and Radu Drăgușin currently sidelined.

And speaking on Friday (11 April) ahead of Spurs’ Premier League trip to Wolves, Postecoglou provided a fresh injury update on Kulusevski.

The Australian said, “Kulusevski has trained today with the players who didn’t play last night.

“He looked really good. He’s not available this weekend, and he won’t start on Thursday because he’s been out for so long, but he’s looking good.”

Postecoglou needs to focus on Frankfurt clash

Postecoglou will not want Tottenham to fall any lower in the Premier League.

Therefore, he will no doubt be keen to pick up three points against Wolves, especially as it will help build some momentum ahead of the trip to Germany.

However, that match against Frankfurt on Thursday is arguably the biggest of Postecoglou’s career. As a result, all focus must be on that showdown, and if that means making wholesale changes against Wolves, then that is what needs to be done.
