Lucas Bergvall reacts as Tottenham finalise controversial transfer
Lucas Bergvall has liked a social media post from Tottenham confirming the loan departure of Alfie Dorrington.
It was revealed on Monday (13 January) that the 19-year-old had left North London to join Scottish Premiership outfit Aberdeen until the end of the season.
The centre-back signed a new deal before departing for Pittodrie in a move which has divided Spurs supporters.
Despite the controversial nature of the deal, midfielder Bergvall has liked the Instagram post from the Lilywhites sharing the transfer update.

The England under-19 international has featured in just one Premier League game for Spurs this season despite the injury crisis at the back for Ange Postecoglou.
With just 13 minutes under his belt in a 5-0 win against Southampton, it appears that the defender isn’t trusted by the Australian head coach.
Regardless of his lack of minutes so far, with both Micky Van de Ven and Cristian Romero out through injury, surely a young option to rely on would be useful.
This could prove to be a mistake in N17 given how thin the squad has been in North London so far, especially considering that Archie Gray has played ahead of him out of position.

It seems that this isn’t how the Tottenham hierarchy see it and have made the decision to loan him out with a view to potentially more first-team opportunities in the future.
With Bergvall liking the post it is clear that his teammates are pleased with the move but that can’t be said for all Spurs fans.
