Kinský shows up new teammates as tunnel footage emerges from Tottenham win
Antonín Kinský continued to endear himself to his new supporters with one small gesture after Tottenham beat Liverpool on Wednesday.
Ange Postecoglou’s side recorded a 1-0 victory over the Reds in the first leg of their Carabao Cup semi-final clash at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on 8 January, with fans calling for one player to be fined after what he did in the match.
Liverpool fans lost their minds after Kinský’s impressive debut for Spurs on the night, and the goalkeeper continued to show up his new teammates even after full-time.
In footage shared from the tunnel via Chris Cowlin on YouTube (8 January), a young supporter can be seen holding out his shirt for players to sign, and the only one to stop was Spurs’ brand-new shot-stopper.
Antonín Kinský shines for Tottenham in win over Liverpool
It looks as though Kinský is already a hero among Spurs supporters after just one match.
His debut between the sticks in North London couldn’t have gone much better with the 21-year-old keeping a clean sheet in a rare Spurs win over Liverpool and making some fine saves in the process.
As a result, Guglielmo Vicario will no doubt be looking over his shoulder. The Italian up until this point was viewed as the clear number one choice under Postecoglou.
However, if Kinský continues to put performances in as the one he did against the Reds on Wednesday, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Vicario left on the bench once he does return to fitness.
Of course, there is still a long way to go until that happens. However, the early signs are very positive, and with Vicario not returning for a while, Kinský has plenty of time to continue making an impression.

And little gestures toward fans such as this one certainly won’t hurt his cause.
