John Terry predicts Tottenham Europa League win after ‘different’ admission
John Terry has predicted whether Tottenham will win the Europa League after a different admission about Ange Postecoglou’s team.
Spurs beat AZ Alkmaar 3-1 in the second leg of the last-16 at home on 13 March to book their place in the competition’s quarter-finals.
The North London outfit will face Eintracht Frankfurt next in the Europa League and are seen as one of the favourites to go all the way to the final in Bilbao.
Athletic Club, Lazio and Manchester United are still alive in the competition, and Terry has given his thoughts on whether the Lilywhites will win the title.

Tottenham win in Europa League not certain
Terry isn’t sure about the North London outfit winning the Europa League.
The former Chelsea defender expressed his doubts when asked if Spurs had what it took to go all the way in the competition.
Terry believes the Lilywhites have been different under Postecoglou this season and have lacked a cutting edge in the final third.
Speaking on talkSPORT (19 March, 8:39), the Champions League-winning defender said: “Will [Spurs] win [Europa League]? I’m not sure. They look a different side to me this year. They don’t look the exciting threat, pace they had up front before.”
Postecoglou to be sacked after Europa League failure
Daniel Levy has told Postecoglou that he expects to be involved in European football for next season [TBR Football], and failure to do so could potentially mean the end of the Australian manager.
The Spurs chairman was spotted with Mauricio Pochettino recently amid links of the Argentine manager’s return to the North London outfit.
With the Lilywhites 14th in the Premier League and 15 points off the top four, it seems unlikely that the former Celtic boss will be able to get into the European places.
Postecoglou’s only hope of securing his job now possibly hangs on the Europa League, winning which will qualify Spurs for next season’s Champions League.
The Australian manager’s future may hinge on lifting the trophy in Bilbao and ending the North London outfit’s 17-year trophy drought.
Levy hasn’t been reluctant to sack managers in recent years but has stuck by Postecoglou despite results being underwhelming this season.
Injuries have hampered the former Celtic head coach’s squad strength, but that still isn’t an excuse for some of the performances this season.
With the Europa League the Australian manager’s only saving grace, it remains to be seen how the situation unfolds in the coming months.
