Jim White shares what he’s been told about Postecoglou sack at Tottenham
Jim White has given a glimpse at what Ange Postecoglou’s future at Tottenham might look like.
The entire footballing world is talking and speculating about Postecoglou due to how poor Spurs have been this season, with their latest outing leading to another defeat.
Spurs faced Wolves in what was seen as a routine match on Sunday (13 April), but instead they were dealt an embarrassing 4-2 defeat by the Midlands giants who sit below them in the Premier League table.
Tottenham have now only won once in their previous five games in all competitions, which came against bottom of the league Southampton, highlighting how poor their recent run has been.
Postecoglou’s men have suffered 17 losses in the Premier League alone throughout this campaign, and the pressure is truly on Australian coach Postecoglou.

White comments on Postecoglou future
The relationship between Postecoglou and the Spurs fans is also starting to sour, as he got involved in an argument with one after their defeat against Fulham last month in another low moment.
Postecoglou has now refused to head over to the fans after their previous two away games in the Premier League, which is what people expect as a minimum, regardless of the result.
It has led to supporters losing faith in the Spurs manager as they have begun calling for Daniel Levy to fire him, and it’s currently hard to see how that won’t happen by the end of the season.

Speaking live on talkSPORT (14 April), White revealed what he has heard from people about Postecoglou’s future.
He said: “I listened to them on Friday. I was in a box with some serious money people and they were saying, ‘enough is enough’.”
Europa League crucial for Tottenham
This week is likely to be a make-or-break week for Postecoglou in regards to his future at the football club, as Spurs have their second leg of their Europa League quarter-final to play.
Winning the competition would provide a small positive in what has been a disastrous campaign, and it would also set Spurs up to compete in Europe next season.
That was the goal that Postecoglou was tasked with by Levy at the start of the season, which is why being knocked out could have a massive impact for him.
It is currently 1-1 between Spurs and Eintracht Frankfurt after the first leg, and the Lilywhites must now head away from home and produce a positive result to stay in the competition.
