Jamie O’Hara in hysterics at Arsenal reveal live on Sky Sports – ‘Love that’

Jamie O’Hara was in hysterics at information he was told on Sky Sports regarding Tottenham’s fierce rivals Tottenham.

Tottenham were edged out by Manchester City, who will relinquish their title for the first time in five seasons, in Wednesday’s (26 February) Premier League clash.

The closest team to runaway leaders Liverpool are Spurs’ North London rivals Arsenal, at whom O’Hara afforded the opportunity to take a chuckle.

O’Hara laughs at Arsenal despite Tottenham defeat

While Tottenham dip to 13th in the Premier League, Arsenal bowed out of the title race once and for all after playing out a goalless stalemate with Champions League hopefuls Nottingham Forest.

Liverpool, on the other hand, just keep on winning – and this time overcame a Newcastle United side without Alexander Isak 2-0 at Anfield.

The Reds are now 13 points clear of the Gunners in second – albeit having played a game more – and can mathematically win their second Premier League title with seven victories in their final 10 fixtures.

O’Hara, in the Sky Sports studio [27 February], enjoyed hearing from reporter Jo Wilson that Arsenal are now closer to 10th-placed Aston Villa than they are to Liverpool at the summit.

“Love that,” he bellowed, as the statistic made the ex-Spurs midfielder loudly laugh.

Premier League fates could all be decided before final day

The Premier League is certainly not very tightly contested this season when it comes to the business ends.

The title race is as good as over; the relegation battle is now just between four clubs at best, and it is highly likely Wolves will escape and leave the three promoted clubs to head straight back to the Championship for back-to-back seasons.

O’Hara can be allowed a little jibe at Arsenal for now – Tottenham fans have not had a lot to cheer about on or off the pitch, and the ‘celebration police’ aspect of ridiculous social media football fandom is frankly boring.

Just enjoy what you can of the football – after all, Spurs have endured more than their share of horror stories this season.

The battle for the Champions League is very much on

The under-pressure Ange Postecoglou and his men do however remain nine points adrift of Villa in 10th, and will have a job on their hands to salvage a spot in the top half. The Europa League is undoubtedly the only route to success.

Elsewhere in the Premier League, the top-four battle is certainly very much alive and likely to be the race which goes right to the wire on the final day.

It is probable that five clubs from England will qualify for Champions League football from this year due to the favourable UEFA coefficient, but some huge clubs will still be missing out.
