Igor Tudor sack latest as Tottenham schedule press conference

Igor Tudor has lost his first three games as Tottenham manager, with his future at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium already up in the air.

The Croatian has not had the desired impact as a short-term manager, and with relegation looking dangerously close, Spurs may be forced into a decision.

Spurs are now just one point above the relegation zone after losing to Crystal Palace 3-1 on Thursday night.

As Tottenham prepare for their next fixture, a key detail reported by journalist Tom Barclay appears to show the Lilywhites’ thoughts on a Tudor sack right now.

What is the latest on Igor Tudor at Tottenham?

As it stands, it appears Tudor is set to stay at Tottenham, at least over the next week, with the club preparing for life with him at the helm.

Spurs are still in the Champions League, and they will now be preparing to face Atletico Madrid in the first leg of the round of 16.

According to Sun journalist Barclay, Tudor will in fact take the pre-match press conference on Monday ahead of Tuesday’s clash.

Pressure is no doubt building on Tudor, and if the streak of losses continues to go on, then Spurs may eventually have to let the 47-year-old go.

What has Tudor said about being sacked by Tottenham?

The interim manager appears to be unfazed by suggestions his short stint on Hotspur Way could be coming to an end.

Following the loss to the Eagles, Tudor was asked about his immediate future and a potential sack, and he responded stating: “I don’t think in that direction. I have my job to do, and that’s all.”

However, at present, Tudor is seemingly not doing that job he was brought into do. Since he has arrived, Tottenham have been dragged further into the relegation battle.

The next two Premier League games could ultimately say quite a lot about the future of the N17 outfit. They face Liverpool at Anfield, which will be a tricky test at a ground they have often struggled at.

Then, they face Nottingham Forest at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, which is a crucial match for both sides in the battle to stay up.

If Tudor cannot get results in either of those two games, then his immediate future may be in more danger than it seemingly is now.
