Harry Redknapp reveals how Igor Tudor can win backing of Tottenham fans
Igor Tudor will get Tottenham supporters onside if he can simply get his team to show some spirit and fight, according to Harry Redknapp.
Tudor has been brought in until the end of the season by Spurs, replacing Thomas Frank, who was sacked last week.
The former Juventus boss has a huge job on his hands, with the Lilywhites currently sitting 16th in the Premier League, just five points clear of the relegation zone.
To make matters worse, the Tottenham fanbase is completely disconnected following several months of poor performances, and Tudor has to win their support as soon as possible.

How can Igor Tudor succeed at Tottenham?
With the obvious caveat of Europa League success last May, it has been an abysmal 18 months for Tottenham, under both Ange Postecoglou and Frank.
Last season, the North London outfit finished 17th in the Premier League, and the situation has deteriorated further this term.
Now, Tudor comes into a side who find themselves in the depths of a relegation battle, and trying to avoid an unthinkable drop down to the Championship.
Redknapp, who was Tottenham manager between 2008 and 2012, believes that the Croatian must breed confidence back into the dressing room.
Speaking to The Sun, he said: “Give the players some belief they can compete and the tide will start to turn with the fans. If supporters see that effort, spirit and fight, they will back Tudor all the way.”
Redknapp added that Tudor has to take a measured approach to getting more out of the current Spurs squad, rather than resorting to anger.
He said: “One thing the Croatian cannot do is go into this dressing room throwing tea cups and screaming at the players to sort their act out.
“Even if this is a difficult group of players to deal with, they are the ones Tudor has to use between now and the end of the season.”

Igor Tudor must make immediate impact
Tudor’s first game in charge is the North London derby, and the result of that game could have a huge impact on the rest of his reign.
If the 47-year-old is able to inspire Spurs to a famous win over Arsenal on 22 February, then he will be immediately loved by the Tottenham fans.
| Date | Opponent |
| 22 Feb | Arsenal (H) |
| 1 Mar | Fulham (A) |
| 5 Mar | Crystal Palace (H) |
| 15 Mar | Liverpool (A) |
However, if it all goes wrong and the Lilywhites endure a heavy defeat, it could be terminal for Tudor.
Much will depend on whether the new Tottenham boss can get his squad motivated for the derby, as if their recent form is anything to go by, the players are extremely low on confidence.
