Harry Redknapp blasts ‘disastrous’ Arsenal, predicts score v ‘dodgy’ Tottenham
Harry Redknapp has backed Arsenal to secure a 2-1 win against Tottenham on Wednesday.
Spurs travel to the Emirates in the North London Derby on 15 January with a view to securing a first Premier League win since mid-December.
Both sides come into the clash in poor form with the Gunners being knocked out of the FA Cup by Manchester United on Sunday (12 January).
With that in mind, former Lilywhites boss Redknapp has predicted, in his weekly article with Bet Victor, Mikel Arteta to get one up on Ange Postecoglou.
He said: “Things just don’t seem right at Arsenal, if it’s not a set-piece, they just don’t look like scoring. I know some people will say they should have won the game but that was a disastrous defeat at home to United in the FA Cup.
“There’s a little bit of pressure on Mikel Arteta and three points would go a long way in easing the pressure on his shoulders.
“As underwhelming as they’ve been of late, I think Arsenal just have a psychological edge over their rivals. Tottenham are dodgy at defending set-pieces, and we all know how good Arsenal are at scoring from them. I can see Tottenham getting a goal, but I’m going for a 2-1 home win.”

Postecoglou’s side are preparing to face their North London rivals and will have to be on better form than their last showing against Tamworth.
Spurs struggled to break down a stubborn back line which could be mirrored at the Emirates up against Gabriel and William Saliba.
The Gunners duo have conceded just 18 goals this season but have struggled to score in recent weeks with Bukayo Saka missing through injury.

This will make it an interesting clash for the Lilywhites who must be on top of their game, especially when dealing with set-pieces from the home side.
In other Tottenham news, Postecoglou ‘could get a Rashford transfer answer within hours’.
