Harry Kane makes huge Tottenham v Manchester United claim – ‘I’ll be watching’
Harry Kane is already looking forward to the UEFA Europa League final between Tottenham and Manchester United on 21 May.
Tottenham have the perfect opportunity to end their 17-year-long trophy drought when they face Manchester United in the European final at San Mames in less than two weeks’ time.
Ange Postecoglou could also prove his doubters wrong by leading Spurs to a trophy in his second season in charge of them, as promised.
Having beaten the Red Devils on three separate occasions this season, the North London giants will be positive about their chances of leaving Bilbao with the trophy.
With Tottenham on the cusp of ending their long wait to win silverware, it should not come as a surprise that Kane has one eye on his former club.

Kane reacts to Tottenham reaching Europa League final
Although Kane has been quiet about Tottenham since leaving for Bayern Munich in 2023, he has made no secret of his continuing love for the club.
Speaking ahead of the Spurs’ trip to Bodo/Glimt on Thursday (8 May), the England international revealed that he would be spending his evening watching Postecoglou and Co. in action in Norway.
With the Lilywhites now in the final just days after he clinched the Bundesliga title with Bayern, Kane is delighted with how both parties are progressing.

The talisman tipped his hat to Postecoglou’s side for reaching the Europa League final despite having a tough season otherwise.
He also revealed that he would be eagerly watching when Tottenham face United in Bilbao in 11 days’ time.
“It feels, it feels great to be honest”, Kane said on Cleats Club (9 May).
“Obviously, big congratulations to Spurs. I know it’s been a tough season in many ways, but to get to the Europa League final is no easy feat. They should be proud of themselves.
“Obviously, one more game to go. Big game for the club, and I’m obviously wishing them all the best, and I’ll be watching in a couple of weeks, so hopefully it can be a good month for all of us.”
Postecoglou would want to build momentum with Spurs
It would be interesting if Tottenham ended their long wait to win a trophy in the season that Kane won his first major trophy.
However, Spurs cannot afford to get carried away, as they have two Premier League games coming up before the final.
While Ruben Amorim plans to rotate his squad heavily in preparation for the showdown, it would not be a surprise if Postecoglou wanted to build momentum instead.
Therefore, he may ensure all his main players get enough playing time to prepare themselves for the big game.
