Morrison stunned by ‘Huge’ Kulusevski injury news at Tottenham on Sky Sports
Dejan Kulusevski is set for a period on the sidelines as the Tottenham injury curse continues.
Spurs have endured a turbulent season amid a backdrop of supporter dissent towards Daniel Levy, and sit just 13th in the Premier League ahead of Sunday’s trip to Bournemouth.
Last month Spurs exited the FA Cup via a fourth round defeat to Aston Villa, while they were subsequently thrashed 4-1 in their League Cup semi-final showdown with Liverpool.
Consequently, Tottenham’s last chance of clinching silverware this term lies in the Europa League, but Ange Postecoglou’s side suffered a 1-0 defeat in their Round of 16 first-leg tie with Dutch side AZ Alkmaar last Thursday (6 March).

Morrison outlines impact of Kulusevski injury
Tottenham’s Kulusevski recently shared a photo on Instagram showing he was wearing a protective boot, and he will now be unavailable for selection until April.
Clinton Morrison was stunned by the timescale of the Sweden international’s injury and said live Sky Sports News [14:03, 8 March]: “He’s been their best player, I didn’t know he was going to be out until April, so that’s a huge blow for (Tottenham), him not being available.

Appearances | 42 |
Goals | 10 |

“He’s the most creative player and you saw it against AZ Alkmaar, they didn’t create anything.
“Not having Kulusevski, for me, he’s been their best player recently, I think all season.”

Kulusevski injury is a huge blow for Tottenham
Many Spurs fans will share Morrison’s sentiment that Kulusevski has been their best player this term, as he has been a shining light for an otherwise struggling side.
The Sweden international has operated in both central midfield and in his more familiar role as a wideman this season, notching 10 goals and 10 assists in 42 appearances across all competitions.
As alluded to by Morrison, Tottenham lacked creativity as they fell to a hugely disappointing 1-0 defeat at the hands of Alkmaar and they have now given themselves a deficit to overturn in the second leg.
Reaching the Europa League quarter finals despite the fact they are now trailing 1-0 will be a more difficult task without the services of Kulusevski.
Spurs have been hindered by a series of injuries this term, faced by the likes of striker Dominic Solanke and defensive duo Christian Romero and Micky van de Ven.
News that Kulusevski will be the latest Tottenham man to face a lengthy spell on the sideline is not what Postecoglou or supporters will want to hear.
