Brendan Rodgers ‘to join Tottenham’ after what could happen at Celtic
Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers could potentially move to Tottenham as Ange Postecoglou fights for his future at N17.
The Australian manager will reportedly leave soon, as Daniel Levy will make a decision at Spurs regardless of their prospects in the Europa League [The Telegraph].
With the former Celtic boss’ future up in the air, the North London outfit will evidently need to replace him with someone capable of making progress in N17.
David Ornstein feels Postecoglou’s sacking is inevitable, and the Celtic boss has now been suggested as a possible candidate to take charge of the Lilywhites.

Tottenham to get Rodgers after Celtic treble set
Rodgers may be the right fit to replace Postecoglou at the North London outfit, Ally McCoist says.
Alan Brazil agrees with the assessment and believes the former Liverpool boss is a decent suggestion to take charge at Spurs next season.

The former Ipswich Town ace feels the Northern Irish manager may think about leaving Celtic after winning his third treble with them.
Speaking on talkSPORT (23 April, 7:57), McCoist said: “I’ll tell you who might suit them. What about Rodgers at Tottenham?
“Good shout. If he thinks, ‘The treble, that’s it. I’ve done the treble. We’ve progressed in Europe. Time to move on’. Maybe.”
Postecoglou needs to leave after Europa League triumph
Postecoglou must win the Europa League and help the North London outfit attain a Champions League spot for next season.
The Lilywhites beat Eintracht Frankfurt at Deutsche Bank Park to seal their place in the semi-finals of the European competition.
Bodo/Glimt are Spurs’ next opponents in the semi-finals of the competition, and they’ll be favourites to reach the final in Bilbao.
Tottenham may face Manchester United or Athletic Club at San Mames if they get past the Norwegian outfit.
Even if Postecoglou wins the North London outfit’s first trophy in 17 years, he doesn’t seem like the right man to take them forward.
The Spurs faithful look to have already turned on the Australian manager after witnessing some abysmal performances this season.
With the Lilywhites 16th in the Premier League table, winning the Europa League wouldn’t be enough to keep him after what’s been seen domestically.
Rodgers has a history of relative success in the English top flight, having almost clinched the league title with Liverpool and won the FA Cup with Leicester City.
The Northern Irishman is indeed a decent shout for the North Londoners.
