Brendan Rodgers odds slashed to become new Tottenham manager as Thomas Frank sack news breaks
Brendan Rodgers is increasingly likely to replace Thomas Frank as the Tottenham Hotspur manager.
Spurs suffered a shock 3-0 loss to Nottingham Forest on Sunday, leaving them in the Premier League’s bottom half ahead of the final game week before Christmas.
Frustrations spilt over in Tottenham’s defeat at the City Ground, with full-back Djed Spence openly questioning Frank’s in-game decision to substitute him off for Ben Davies.
It’s left many thinking that Spurs’ only option is to now sack Frank, even though he only arrived at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the summer to replace Ange Postecoglou.

Due to Spurs’ crushing defeat in the East Midlands, Frank‘s future has been called into question.
One major bookmaker has slashed the odds on him being the next Premier League manager to leave his post to 2/1, replacing previous favourites Daniel Farke and Scott Parker.
Tottenham have just one win in their last seven Premier League outings, which was their 2-0 win over Frank’s former club Brentford on 6 December
Since taking charge at the North London club in the summer, the Dane has overseen just six league victories and, worryingly, at this stage last season, Postecoglou’s Spurs had one more point.

Brendan Rodgers odds slashed but Oliver Glasner still favourite for Tottenham job
Former Celtic, Liverpool and Leicester manager Rodgers is seemingly in the frame to replace Frank in charge of Spurs if the London club’s board pull the trigger on the ex-Brentford boss.
Rodgers’ odds have been slashed to 8/1 by one bookie, who has Crystal Palace’s manager Oliver Glasner (5/1) listed as the current favourite for the job.
Marco Silva and Andoni Iraola are also joint-favourites alongside Rodgers, while Roberto De Zerbi and Michael Carrick (both 12/1) are among the more realistic outside bets.
Rodgers has been out of work since resigning as Celtic manager in October.
The 52-year-old Northern Irishman has managed 312 Premier League matches, boasting a solid 44 per cent win-rate across spells at Swansea, Liverpool and Leicester.
