Bayern Munich to up bid for Tottenham star Harry Kane to £70m – report
Bayern Munich are set to make an improved bid worth £70million for Tottenham ace Harry Kane, according to the Daily Mail.
Rob Draper wrote on the Mail Online that the Bundesliga champions have yet to offer more than £56m and would like to conclude a quick transfer.
However, it is said the new fee will still not be enough to convince Spurs chairman Daniel Levy to cash in on Kane despite the fact he only has 12 months left on his contract.

The news follows reports Tottenham have tabled a new contract (the Guardian, 5 July) to Kane that would represent a significant rise on his £200,000-per-week deal.
Kane is said to be in no hurry to sign a new deal after Spurs missed out on European football this season.
Big dilemma but Levy won’t budge
You can 100 per cent understand why Bayern Munich would want to sign Kane, especially with head coach Thomas Tuchel – a former Chelsea boss – so keen on the England captain.
But you do feel that these bids being made are somewhat frivolous. Sure Kane only has a year left on his deal, but one thing is for sure Levy will not waver and accept a cut-price fee for one of the best strikers in world football.

It does, though, leave Tottenham with a big dilemma. Kane’s love for the club is clear for all to see, but a player of his calibre really ought to be winning major honours and, in truth, there is no sign Spurs are ready to challenge for the biggest prizes anytime soon.
So, that runs the very real possibility that Tottenham could end up losing Kane on a free transfer in 12 months’ time, a scenario that would be hugely disappointing.
However, cash in now and Levy’s already low opinion among the Tottenham fanbase would likely sink even lower. It is a tough situation for all involved.
