Archie Gray doesn’t hesitate as he reacts to Postecoglou sack news at Tottenham
Archie Gray has had a dream start to his life at Tottenham after winning the UEFA Europa League final and has once again made headlines with his reaction to the recent Ange Postecoglou sack news.
While he played just one minute of their 1-0 victory against Manchester United in the Europa League final at the Estadio de San Mamés on Wednesday (21 May), the Tottenham gem had been entrusted by boss Postecoglou during their Europa League campaign.
The youngster was an important part of Spurs’ group stage, where he played each game for the full 90 minutes, as well as featuring in the round of 16 against AZ Alkmaar.
Postecoglou has given Gray his full trust this season, which has not gone unnoticed by the youngster when reacting to recent news concerning the future of the Australian coach.

Gray wants Postecoglou to continue for a third season at Tottenham
Despite ending Tottenham’s 17-year trophy drought, Postecoglou could still leave Hotspur Way after overseeing a disappointing league season.
Tottenham set a new record in their 4-1 defeat against Brighton (25 May), becoming the first team to lose 22 times in the Premier League without being relegated.

However, according to Football London (27 May), Gray had no hesitation when asked if Postecoglou deserved a third season.
“Yes, definitely. It’s been a great season this year, and it’s been a roller coaster of a season as well, not just at the end,” he said.
“We’ve obviously had some really tough times, and we stuck together. He’s big on things like family, and I think the main thing that helped us get to the final and win the final is our morals of what we’re like as a team.
“Like I said, family is our main thing. We believe in each other, and it’s like brothers going out there on the pitch in the final, and we just fought for each other.”

Tottenham must decide Postecoglou’s future
The uncertainties surrounding Postecoglou’s future have been present since the beginning of the season.
Postecoglou has given Spurs a massive springboard for the next few years with the Europa League and Champions League, but the club has still not clarified if he will be the one to lead the new era.
With the summer transfer window approaching, Daniel Levy will need to come to a decision quickly to ensure enough time a resources to plan the new season.
Now with a new trophy at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, it may be time for Levy to take a chance and let Postecoglou prove once more that he can win with Spurs.
