Ange Postecoglou set to axe Son Heung-min as Tottenham worry emerges
Ange Postecoglou could axe Son Heung-min from the Tottenham starting lineup as a worry has emerged in N17.
The South Korea international has been underwhelming at the North London outfit this season as they endure one of their worst seasons in recent years.
There have been calls to strip Son of the Spurs captaincy after his failure to show leadership over the course of the current campaign.
Daniel Levy could potentially sack Postecoglou if things get worse, and the Australian manager could look to make a change with the 32-year-old forward soon.

Tottenham worried Son Heung-min will not rediscover form
There is fear at the North London outfit that Son may not be able to rediscover his form, according to Give Me Sport.
The news outlet reports (18 February) that the South Korean forward’s dip in performances could see him being dropped by Postecoglou once he has a full squad to select from.
As things stand, Dominic Solanke, Richarlison and Timo Werner are on the sidelines, and it has been claimed the 32-year-old captain may struggle to retain his place in the starting lineup once other attacking options return from their injuries.
The former Bayer Leverkusen ace is reaching a point where he may no longer be considered an automatic starter at Tottenham.

Son Heung-min needs to step up
Spurs signed Mathys Tel on loan, with Brennan Johnson, Dejan Kulusevksi and Wilson Odobert also at their disposal up front.
While most of the North London outfit’s attackers have failed to make much of an impact this season, the fans expect much more from their captain.
Postecoglou has required someone to step up during dire circumstances, but most players seem to have downed tools.
Son has failed to shoulder Spurs’ burden as they find themselves 14 points behind a top-four spot, and it’s no surprise to see supporters calling for the armband to be taken off him.
The North Londoners managed to get a positive result against Manchester United at home in the Premier League on Sunday (16 February), but the South Korean was unable to convince many with his displays.
With the 32-year-old consistently struggling on the pitch, his time in N17 seems to be coming to a close.
While the Lilywhites extended the forward’s contract recently for a further season, it remains to be seen whether he will stay beyond this season.
