Ange Postecoglou: No one at Tottenham is looking beyond Monday night v Chelsea
Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou has described the upcoming Premier League meeting with Chelsea as the club’s “biggest challenge” at this moment in time.
Spurs will welcome an out-of-form Chelsea side, led by their former manager Mauricio Pochettino, to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Monday 6 November.
During his pre-match press conference (via Football London, 2 November), Postecoglou was asked about Spurs’ upcoming run of games but insisted all focus is on Chelsea.

“You can list those games and you can think about them collectively or you can just concentrate on the biggest challenge for us, which is Chelsea on Monday night,” said the Aussie boss.
“There’s no one who’s thinking beyond Monday night because that’s our most important task right now.”
Former Spurs defender Alan Hutton told Tottenham News:
“As it stands at this moment in time, I think Spurs will be too strong.
“I think Chelsea have got the ability to turn up and turn anybody over, it’s definitely in there, but for whatever reason, injuries and different things, new philosophies, new ideas, it’s not quite clicked as yet, but it’s definitely there.
“The way Tottenham are playing at this moment in time, I think they’ll win.

“In terms of talking about the league, can they go all the way? I think the big question mark will be what they do in January.
“They’re very strong at this moment in time, I think if Daniel Levy was to go out and spend money to bring in a striker, somebody that can really lighten that load, really help them up top, I think then they’ll be in the conversation.”
