Andreas Georgson sends ‘proud’ message after joining Tottenham from Man Utd
Daniel Levy has continued to shuffle the pack at Tottenham as he prepares for a new era.
Levy has made sweeping changes this summer from top to bottom as he looks to convert last season’s UEFA Europa League triumph into more sustainable success.
The most notable change this summer has been the appointment of Thomas Frank, which has coincided with a reshuffle across the board aimed at improving the medical, coaching, and scouting departments.
Levy wants all the pieces in place before focusing on signing players and has looked to Manchester United to bring in the latest addition.

Andreas Georgson ‘proud’ as Frank’s coaching staff is finalised
Frank has been working on finalising his coaching staff at Tottenham after initially bringing former Spurs academy coach Justin Cochrane, Chris Haslam, and Joe Newton with him from Brentford.
Andreas Georgson also joined the Dane in June after working for a year as a set-piece coach at Manchester United.
Spurs officially announced the full composition of Frank’s backroom team on Monday (7 July), confirming that Matt Wells would remain on the coaching staff as a first-team assistant coach.
Cameron Campbell and Fabian Otte were also appointed from RB Leipzig and Liverpool respectively to round off Frank’s team.
Georgson, 43, welcomed the recent appointments and posted a message on X (7 July) saying, “Proud and excited about the future. Lets go!”
Frank’s backroom staff is now officially in order. Therefore, the Dane can now divert his attention to the transfer market and pre-season preparations, with Tottenham’s first game against Reading only 11 days away.
Frank already making his mark at Spurs
Members of Tottenham’s squad have already reported to training, with videos showing a glimpse of what is to come under Frank.
Strenuous physical exercises prove that the 51-year-old expects high levels of fitness from his squad, while they have already been spotted practising throw-ins, which were a vital form of chance creation that Frank relied upon during his time with the Bees.
This indicates that Georgson will play a vital role this season, as one of Frank’s priorities will be to make Tottenham a formidable team from set pieces.
