Amorim tells Man United star he’s finished after explosive Tottenham incident
Tottenham’s Europa League final victory over Man United appears to have had some major implications at Old Trafford.
Tottenham‘s 17-year trophy drought came to an end this season, with their 1-0 victory over the Red Devils in the Europa League final bringing some much-needed success to North London after what has been a dismal domestic campaign.
Spurs finished 17th in the Premier League, piling the pressure on Ange Postecoglou, who, despite winning a trophy, could still face the sack.
However, for United, they face a season without European football next time out, with their failures in the current campaign causing plenty of problems in Manchester.

Man United set for mass exodus as a result of Tottenham
That night in Bilbao was make-or-break for both sides, and thankfully for Tottenham, they were the ones to have prevailed.
As for Man United, their 16th place league finish, alongside the lack of European football next season, has sparked major concern, and according to a report from Mail Online (27 May), that has spread into the playing squad.
Europa League final | Goals | Shots | xG | Possession |
Tottenham | 1 | 3 | 1.01 | 27% |
Alejandro Garnacho is said to have been told that his career at Man United is over, with Amorim telling the winger that “You better pray that you can find a club to sign you.”
This comes after Garnacho, in an expletive-ridden complaint, hit out at Amorim for only giving him 20 minutes in the Europa League final against Spurs.
Garnacho was ridiculed in front of his own teammates.

Tottenham must take advantage of Europa League success
Spurs are a Champions League club now, which is something they are very fortunate to be able to say.
However, they need to take advantage of that when it comes to recruitment this summer, otherwise they face the risk of regressing even further.
Tottenham are in dire need of quality additions, and the ability to offer Champions League football is something that will only benefit them in their attempts.
After finishing 17th in the Premier League, the room for improvement is massive, and they will be afforded no margin for error in the summer window.
