Tottenham players told to leave the pitch after what Salah was seen doing at Anfield
Tottenham had another day to forget as they were beaten easily by Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday.
Dominic Solanke gave Tottenham an unexpected lead, but they went into the interval 3-1 down as they completely crumbled – again.
It was a case of damage limitation in the opening 15 minutes of the second half, before Mohamed Salah got in on the act to put the Reds further ahead.
Salah celebrated his goal in a rather unique way as he took a selfie with Liverpool’s supporters in the background.

O’Hara reacts to Salah selfie celebration v Tottenham
Former Tottenham player Jamie O’Hara was not impressed with what he saw from Salah – or more so from Spurs’ players at Anfield.
O’Hara took to X (27 April) immediately after Salah’s goal and celebration to write: “Nahhhhh Salah doing selfies against us, get us off this pitch now, it just sums our season up, wipping boys.”
Many Tottenham fans would have agreed with O’Hara’s sentiment that it was better for the players to just wave the white flag with 25 minutes to go.
Tottenham showing no signs of improvement
Tottenham were given next to no chance of succeeding at Anfield and so it proved, albeit after Solanke’s opener.
Liverpool ran riot and were deserved 5-1 winners on the day, with Ange Postecoglou reflecting on yet another horror show.

It has long been known that the Europa League is the only thing saving Postecoglou, but even going all the way in that tournament will not be enough for the Australian now.
Tottenham fans are quite simply sick of performances of this manner, with the self-destruction at Anfield the latest on a long list of major disappointments for Tottenham this season.
The only positive is that there is no one less game to tick off between now and the end of the Premier League campaign.
