Son Heung-min shameful, teammate shines — Tottenham player ratings v Villa
Tottenham lost 2-0 to Aston Villa in the Premier League on Friday, as Son Heung-min continues to struggle.
The South Korea international started for Ange Postecoglou’s team at Villa Park on 16 May, and was wasteful in the final third.
Djed Spence also had a tough time against Unai Emery’s side, as the North London outfit found themselves trailing after Ezri Konsa’s goal at the hour mark.
Boubacar Kamara extended the Lions’ lead in the 73rd minute with a ferocious strike, as the Lilywhites lost their 21st game of the league campaign.
Here, Tottenham News have given their players ratings for the fixture.

Antonin Kinsky stands out for Tottenham against Aston Villa
Antonin Kinsky – 8
Kinsky continued his brilliant form in between the sticks for Spurs and made some brilliant saves to deny the hosts scoring more goals.
Djed Spence – 3
Spence had a game to forget against John McGinn in defence and failed to provide any sort of attacking impetus for the North London outfit.
Kevin Danso – 4
Ben Davies – 6
Sergio Reguilon (replaced by Rodrigo Bentancur in the 74th minute) – 4
Archie Gray – 5
Pape Matar Sarr (replaced by Yves Bissouma in the 53rd minute) – 6
Mikey Moore (replaced by Brennan Johnson in the 87th minute) – 3

Spurs let down by Son at Villa Park
Son Heung-min (replaced by Dominic Solanke in the 74th minute) – 2
Son made some decent runs on the left wing, but it’s a shame that every opportunity he had was wasted by making silly decisions in the final third.
