Jamie O’Hara mocks Jason Cundy on talkSPORT as Tottenham win Europa League
Tottenham supporters finally have bragging rights over rival fans after winning the Europa League.
Tottenham ended their infamous 17-year trophy drought after defeating Manchester United in Bilbao.
A scrappy goal from Brennan Johnson proved to be the difference between the two sides as the Welsh forward cemented his place in the club’s history books.
Micky van de Ven also played a crucial role in ensuring that European silverware comes home with the Lilywhites.
The Dutchman performed a spectacular goal-line clearance to deny Rasmus Hojlund an equaliser as Spurs held on to their lead.
It will certainly be a game that will live long in the memory of Spurs fans as Ange Postecoglou delivered on his quote about winning things in his second season.

O’Hara mocks Cundy in social media post
Tottenham fan and former Spurs midfielder Jamie O’Hara was quick to laugh at his talkSPORT colleague Jason Cundy, whose allegiance lies with the blue side of London, Chelsea.
O’Hara posted a dejected-looking photo of Cundy via his personal X account (21 May), with numerous laughing emojis being the post’s caption.
This reaction from Cundy will make the victory all the sweeter for Spurs fans, with the former Chelsea player frequently poking fun at the club whilst on air.
It’s safe to say that Tottenham fans were quick to remind Cundy who the newly minted Europa League winners were.
Cundy’s infamous ‘has anyone seen’ catchphrase was frequently used against him in the post’s comment section to mock the presenter.
Does Europa League success save Postecoglou’s job?
Despite Tottenham’s Premier League campaign being an underwhelming one to say the least, it is one that the majority of fans would have accepted if it ensured that the club won a trophy.
This situation is now a reality, and Postecoglou will always be remembered as the manager who ended the club’s wait for silverware.
Whether that gives him enough credit with Daniel Levy to lead the club into next season remains to be seen.
However, with the vast number of injuries suffered by Spurs this season, it would be harsh to sack Postecoglou after such a fantastic achievement in Europe.
One thing is for certain, and that is this Tottenham Hotspur side will likely undergo a drastic transformation for the 2025/26 campaign.
Uruguay international Rodrigo Bentancur and Brazilian forward Richarlison are both linked with a move away from the North London club in the summer.
A statement signing like Viktor Gyokeres could be exactly what Postecoglou needs in order to lead the club to more success in the future.
