How to watch today’s Man City vs Tottenham Premier League game: TV channel, live stream, kick-off time

Tottenham face an incredibly tough test as they travel to Manchester City for their first away game of the new season on Saturday.

Spurs got off to a good start with a 3-0 win over Burnley, but have had a miserable week in the transfer market since.

Tottenham wanted to sign Savinho and Eberechi Eze, but are likely to end the window with neither after Arsenal hijacked their deal with Crystal Palace.

Thomas Frank’s main focus is on the pitch, and he will hope that Tottenham can continue their strong recent record against Man City today.

Tottenham’s record at the Etihad Stadium

Tottenham have a surprisingly strong recent record against Man City, and recorded a shock 4-0 victory at the Etihad Stadium under Ange Postecoglou last year.

They also drew 3-3 at Man City under Postecoglou in the previous year, and have lost just one of their last four trips to the Etihad.

Frank has also tasted victory at Man City with Brentford, and has a strong record against Guardiola, having beaten him twice in the 2023-24 season, and he also managed one draw in these eight encounters despite infinitely fewer resources.

Tottenham have the chance to shut out the noise after a difficult few days, and can make a statement if they pick up a positive result in the early kick-off.
