Fulham vs Tottenham preview: Team news, lineups, prediction

Tottenham can’t afford to suffer another Premier League defeat when they travel to Craven Cottage to face Fulham on Sunday.

Igor Tudor’s first game in charge ended in a 4-1 loss to Arsenal, and Spurs now sit just four points above the relegation zone in 16th place.

Fulham come into the match off the back of an impressive 3-1 away win against Sunderland last Sunday, and Marco Silva‘s are still in with a chance of qualifying for European football after a relatively poor start to the campaign.

Head-to-head

In their last meeting, Fulham beat Spurs 2-1 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to secure their first away win of the campaign in November.

Kenny Tete and Harry Wilson scored in the opening six minutes to condemn the Lilywhites to another loss in N17.

The 10th-placed hosts are looking to complete the league double over Spurs for just the second time in their history, after doing so in the 2003-04 Premier League campaign.

In fact, the Cottagers have won three of their last four Premier League games against Spurs, as many as they had in their previous 26.

However, Tottenham have beaten Fulham 55 times, lost 31 meetings and drawn 22 matches in their overall head-to-head record.

Team news and predicted lineups

The big news before the game is that Tudor confirmed both Kevin Danso and Pedro Porro are fit to return to the squad for Sunday’s clash.

Micky van de Ven has a small injury on his finger, but he is expected to start against the London outfit.

Spurs still have eight players injured, with Cristian Romero serving the last game of his four-match suspension.

As for Fulham, their only absentees are Kevin, Samuel Chukwueze and Sasa Lukic, and Silva will be thrilled to have the majority of his squad available.

How I predict Fulham vs Tottenham to finish

At this point, it feels impossible to predict that Spurs will win a match in 2026.

If they fail to secure all three points, it will be 10 games since the Lilywhites last tasted victory in the top flight.

The return of Kevin Danso and Pedro Porro is a huge bonus for Tudor, but the bottom line is that Fulham still have a stronger squad.

The glimmer of hope for Tottenham is that Silva’s side are inconsistent, and they haven’t recorded consecutive league wins since December.

Perhaps optimistically, a 1-1 draw seems to be the most likely outcome, but Tudor’s Tottenham still wouldn’t be happy with that result.
